    International day 2019 – an event to remember

    The 6th of February was a big day at Høgskulen I Volda. The international office have had to prepare one of the most important events of the year, the international day. A day which students from more than 40 different countries have its own stand and the chance to show local students a little bit of its culture, its country and universities.

    Volda University College has started using Canvas as its LMS platform (Learing Management System), replacing Fronter from the autumn semester of 2017. Fronter will remain available for those who want to access old course information.

    Raindog Studios has made an animated film with the purpose of promoting Volda as a place to study. The idea was conceived by Cecilie Wilhelmsen last year and the film premiered at the Animation Volda festival last week.

    Valentin Gatlan, a journalist student from "Al. I. Cuza" University in Romania enjoys his second semester as an exchange student in Volda. So much so, he decided to initiate a project about happiness. "What makes you happy?" is intended to raise awareness about the small things in life, which make a difference and bring a smile on our faces.
