For three days 17 journalism students from Volda, Stockholm and Nizhny Novgorod in Russia have taken part in a workshop to learn about multicultural understanding and human rights.

Volda University College are looking forward to welcome next years international students! The application deadline for incoming exchange students for fall 2014 is coming up the 15th of May. We welcome potential students to send in the application documents before this date.

Exam film from 2012, "But Milk Is Important", directed by Eric Grønmo Bjornsen and Anne Mantzaris, has received a lot of attention on the homepage of the Dragon Frame, the world's largest maker of software for "stop-motion" movies.

The German professor and Bond expert Tobias Hochscherf will give lectures and seminars about James Bond as a Cold War Warrior. These will take place at Aasen-Building, room 113, Thursday March 6 and Friday March 7. Both days from 09.15 a.m.

The Music section at Volda University College invites to a free opening concert of the new concert hall, Thursday 27. February!

The International Day gathered students and representatives from universities from all over the world at Volda University College.

Dunia came to Volda as a student and has stayed her since, working at Pangaia - the meeting place between international and Norwegian students at the university college.

On Wednesday the 30th, a pumpkin carving contest was arranged as part of PANGAIA's Halloween Night in the Berte Kanutte cafeteria.

On Wednesday October the 9th, during lunch break, the Norwegian students were offered to travel around Europe while staying at the Berte Kanutte cafeteria. The students could taste snacks from different countries, get to know the cultures of Germany, Belgium, Spain, the Czech Republic and Romania and have a small chat about studying abroad.

Every year the International Office at Volda University College arranges a trip to Geiranger with the international students. This year 80 international students joined the trip.
