Students: Submit a photo and join the competition for cash prizes and a place in an exhibition
If you are a student and have taken or want to take photos of conflict, protest and reconciliation, you have the opportunity to show the photo (s) in a photo exhibition during a media conference in Kiel. There is a nice prize money for the three best student contributions that are submitted.
From June 11th to 14th 2022, the Kiel University of Applied Sciences/Department of Media, is holding the conference "Conflict, Resolution and the Media". During the conference, an exhibition will be on display in the Bunker-D gallery on the university campus, in which various protest movements will be presented. This exhibition is a cooperation between the Kiel University of Applied Sciences and the Volda University College (VUC).
Want wide range
As part of this exhibition, we plan to show students-submissions, documenting the topic of conflict, protest, and reconciliation in a photographic way. We invite everyone to submit relevant and photographic works. Protest movements, demonstrations, as well as specific examples of assistance that contribute to conflict resolution or management are eligible.
– We hope to receive a variety of contributions that illuminate this topic emotionally, rationally, personally, or critically, says Thomas Lewe, assistant professor at VUC and responsible for the exhibition.
